Design Brief
“Eternal Suffering” is a calendar based on the 2016 movie “Shin Godzilla.” The story follows a terrified city as a monster suddenly appears in their water, constantly evolving into a bigger threat and a bigger nightmare. The design I made is the product of my Non-Traditional Calendar project, intended to show changes through time in unconventional ways.
BRAINSTORMI chose 12 scenes from the movie to summarize the plot of the movie and assigned them to each month. I knew early on I wanted to have an extra flap for each month, so I started my designs with that in mind.
